The Lazy Days Manufacturing Company was founded in the 1950s. In 1967, it was one of the first houseboat builders to use aluminum hull construction. The boat was stripped to the hull in 1998 and rebuilt new.

This 1968 LazyDays Sportsman is 48' long and 12' wide, yet draws only a foot of water! It is fully outfitted for year-round living, with a robust heater and A/C. It is a single-level home with an open floor plan, 8-foot ceilings. The large front and rear decks have plenty of space for entertaining. The open floor plan includes a full galley, dining area, and salon. The bedroom has a raised California king bed. The freshwater and holding tanks are very large. It has a sleeper sofa in the salon. Full-size washer and dryer and a full head with toilet and large shower separate the salon/galley area and the bedroom.

It is powered with 185 HP Mercruiser twin inline gasoline straight 6s.
